Hi there, my name is Julian and I am the owner and operator of Nomadic Surf Camp

Born and raised in the indigenous village of Zapatón, in the mountains of Costa Rica, I grew up together with my 7 brothers and sisters in a small shack with a dirt floor

My desire to know what is around the corner led me to travel the world for many years where I have had the opportunity to be in 26 countries, in Europe, Asia, and America

I got to know beautiful places, fascinating cultures, and unforgettable experiences, however, for me, nothing compares with the love that I feel for my country, and that is the reason I returned to Costa Rica, where I somehow ended up settling in Uvita, here I started renting an old surfboard that I had, and after a few years that has become Surfing Uvita, a very good establish surf school right in front of the Marino Ballena National Park

Now I decided to start this new adventure, to do something I truly love, which is surfing ,exploring and seeing as much of beautiful Costa Rica as i can, always keeping it fun, always looking to create the best experience for my clients and make friends along the way
